Krillion’s Joel Toledano Chairs at eTail 2009, Provides ‘Local Search’ Angle
As manufacturers and retailers strive to offer consumers all possible ways to ‘buy it now’,
offering them accurate, local in-stock information—wherever they are shopping—is key
Joel Toledano, co-founder and CEO of Krillion™ (www.krillion.com), is chairing a track and participating in a panel at this year’s eTail 2009. Toledano believes attendees at eTail 2009 are looking for ways to make sure their customers’ online experiences are smooth, efficient and expedient: “With fewer customers shopping, manufacturers and retailers must ensure those customers can find what they’re looking for, and can buy it either online or offline — locally — today.”
On Wednesday (Feb. 25), Toledano is hosting executives from Allurent, Backcountry.com, Best Buy, Certona, Nike, Pluck, Range, Sears, Sony Electronics, Spencer’s, and Sprint as they discuss “Community-Building, Customer Experience, and Social Media.” Over the course of the afternoon, through individual presentations and in panel settings, these industry leaders will discuss the latest techniques in personalization, interactive merchandising, and ways to optimize the customer experience throughout a multi-channel sales cycle.
Additionally, Toledano is a panelist in an afternoon session titled: “Focusing on innovation to efficiently move customers through the online research or shopping process.” Toledano and fellow panelists will answer questions that are foremost in e-tailing today:
What types of product information are necessary to help expedite and complete the sale?
What types of features and functionality get customers through the process easily and efficiently?
How are you differentiating your brand through different product and customer experiences?
How can you create rich shopping environments that truly augment the sale?
What are the processes needed to get customers the information that they need to buy today vs. coming back later?
eTail 2009: February 23-26, at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Ariz.
