Krillion + Shopping.com = comprehensive dealer locator
There's a big development here at Krillion. We've partnered with Shopping.com to create a dealer locator tool specifically designed to drive cross-channel sales for consumer product manufacturers. The result of this co-development effort is the Krillion 360 Product Locator — a comprehensive view of a shopper's buying options, packaged in a Web services widget that consumer product manufacturers (and other multichannel marketers) can easily add to their websites.
Using our new dynamic dealer locator, manufacturers can replace those dated, traditional, static dealer listings, as well as other technologies that are getting long in the tooth. (See Evan Schuman's recent "Still Trust Your Web Site? Don't" article for more on that.)
The Krillion 360 Product Locator has long been the only dynamic dealer locator solution capable of presenting online shoppers with real-time product availability at local retailers. Our locator enables shoppers to quickly find and buy products at local stores, directly from a manufacturer's website. And now, thanks to our alliance with top shopping engine Shopping.com, we can integrate a manufacturer's online dealers into a single, comprehensive presentation of "where to buy" any of its products.
It's a simple approach that leverages Krillion's search index (which covers products and availability from over 30,000 retailer locations) as well as Shopping.com's vast merchant index. This unified online + offline retailer view can streamline all paths to sales from the product pages of manufacturers, shopping engines, YellowPage operators - anyone that wants to connect online shoppers with product that is available for sale, right now.
